I Am Just Tri’in To Beat Grief

Patience The Second time around

Autumn bring much anticipation of trials past

Last year in natures place among the waves and creatures deep

Me and many survived the winds and waves a last

An Ironman we all became but something lacked

Ambitions a better time we must wait

Then comes the winds of winding roads

Last year among the flats and natures wet release

Perhaps the key may be to lighten the load

An Ironman must be patient for there lays a new lease

As it is the future trek not in the current state

Success not from the waves or roads behind

It is the current task at hand which determines your fate

Your will to allow for pride to wait you will find

Sounds of footsteps in tune with pulse

Ultimately defines your failure or your success
